Ok, I am the Gadget Gal Wannabe (as you all know Candy Beauchamp and her bloody TREO are still holding first place in this category but I want to give her a run for her money wink.gif ) and I've put together a VAN Toolbar for you to download and add to your browser for easier navigation on the world wide web.

What does the Virtual Assistant Networking Toolbar let me do?

- Includes a cookie cleaner, a history cleaner, and a cache cleaner
- Get notified when you receive new e-mails to your POP3, Yahoo!, Gmail, or Hotmail accounts
- Instant access to our site from any site on the web
- Search from anywhere on the web
- Chat with other users who have the toolbar installed
- Get up-to-date local and global weather forecasts
- Get instant access to useful links like news or a dictionary
- Access to the Virtual Assistant Shopping Network
- Links our VA Goodies like our chat, directory, newsletter and contests
- PLUS links to many online VA groups globally all in one place from IVAA to CVAC!
- Coming soon (with your input) a VA Resource section

I wanted to have a toolbar that helped all VAs save time looking up URLs we use everyday. If you can think of other URLs you use, please contact me and I will consider adding. I'm looking for URLs that are useful and handy to a Virtual Assistant to put in a separate Resource Area.

So what are you waiting for? Download the VAN Toolbar today!

You folks inspire my imagination and I couldn't sleep tonight until I got this set up for everyone...enjoy!

Hey Tawnya,

I just downloaded it, and it truly loads in just seconds. Thanks Tawnya for putting so much work into this. It's very handy.

So do give me your input, what links I could put on it to improve on it. There must be links we as Virtual Assistants use everyday from www.dictionary.com to whatever. List them here and we can add to them.

ALSO, spread the word to other VAs you know about our own personalized Toolbar.
..lets make this into a useful tool for all VAs. Saying that, send me links you all use daily and I will add them to it!

Ok, I just put links to all the VA conferences happening on the toolbar too so that we can keep ahead on those. Plus, I put an RSS feed on it so you can view the top 15 posts at the forum without even having to sign in to view.

I love this little gadget! Don't forget to email to me URLs that we are Virtual Assistants use everyday so I can include them too!

Tawnya,

I had emailed you early this morning regarding adding the VA Revolution and just happened to think that you might also want to add VA Training (www.vatraining.com).

Wow, we must have really gotten your juices flowing having that little chat.

What a great tool! Even though Candy's treo is a nifty gadget she's reluctant to share LOL

Thanks again for all that you do for us smile.gif

Hey

Now we're talking!! This is totally awesome!! It's great to see the inspiration from the conference.

An inspired VA can do just about anything. Can't wait to see what's in store for us at VAN.

Hi All,

A couple of my oft-used resources are:

Oanda's FXConversion - a currency converter that is especially easy to use -
http://www.oanda.com/converter/classic

The World Clock (especially the Meeting Planner for use in coordinate inter-continental meetings or conference calls)
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock

Looking forward to downloading the toolbar. Thanks, Tawnya!!!
