Hi Virtual Family,
I was just wondering if anyone or know someone that uses Microsoft Offive Live for hosting their website? If so, would you say it what you expected or thought it would be? I am think about using them to host my Virtaul Asst website. So a little ups on this would be greatly appreicated.

I used them briefly when it first came out.  I found that I outgrew them very quickly.  Not a fan of "cookie cutter" sites.

I use them for another business of mine, www.ssbinitiative.com. They are easy to manage and do a good job. I'm going to be changing, however, in the near future, as I am not a web designer and I want to do some things with my site that are beyond the capability of OfficeLive. But if you just want a basic site, it is quite good.

I used Office Live for a very cost-conscious client of mine.  As she is a startup and wanted just a basic, brochure-style site, it worked out very well and she is happy with the result.  I did let her know, though, that we may have to look at alternatives before the end of the year just to be sure this is the style and choice that will serve her best in the future.  I liked Office Live mainly because any changes made to the site were published immediately; on the flip side, that same quality makes it more difficult to revamp the site, IMHO.

Hi there.  I use MS Office Live to host my website.  It is fairly easy to use and provides a professional appearance.  Their charge for custom addresses is reasonable as well.
