Hey Everyone Happy Friday, Just a quick question before I start my weekend. If you have domain names such as: .com, .net, .info etc and only have 1 domain hosted for a website what or how do you do a redirect to have the other names directed to your main site? thanks Dianna

I use 'pointing' at the host. I always get it backwards at the first try

Depending on your host, you should be able to login into your cpanel and redirect the domains you aren't using to your main one.

hi Tawnya my host is godaddy, they sent me the directions (which are not easy to understand) and well needless to say I screwed things up and I had enouh time to call them tell them what I did to fix it and havent had time to call them back. I get faster result here than anywhere HEHE I love that. Have a great weekend, I will get things more organized after our move. (moving from Nebraska to the beach in Lillian Alabama across the bridge from Pensacola) This are kind of chaotic right now, sad.gif

On go daddy log into "domain manager"

Click on the domain you want to forward

Then under the "Domain Information" heading the bottom one on the left says FORWARDING, click MANAGE beside that

Then you simply enter in the domain that you want to forward to. http://www.mydomain.com whatever it might be. You can also click "mask" so that no one knows they've been redirected if you want to.

Hope this helps.
