I was using various search engines for "virtual assistant" after reading about it in an article on Monster. Looking for training, I read, re-read then read again all the sites I found about it, and chose the VAS System since it seemed the most user-friendly to someone who is still trying to work, take some classes to spiff up skills and generally keep the home fires burning!

Oh, I surely will! You couldn't get me to stand up in front a room full of folks and talk for love nor money, but I'll yap on paper forever! I have shown dogs on local and national television in front of God and everyone, but every time some yahoo would come up to me with a camera and a microphone for the local news I'd have major brain freeze and extreme fumblemouth.

I think a public speaking course should be looming in my future.......

Hi all, this is my first post. I found you by search engine. I have been a virtual assistant for 5 years. I worked with a limited number of clients, doing newsletters, websites, mailing and such. It was a limited group with limited funds, so I decided to take it to the next level. I was looking for training and how to find new clients to further my business and I happened this site. I got my kit on Saturday. I am very excited about my future. I love all the things on this site. All of you seem to be very genuine and helpful!
Thanks for everything!

Hi Tawyna, I receive the changingcourse.com newsletter by Valerie Young. She mentioned the VBSS there and because I have been looking to change my course for awhile, I was intrigued. While I have not yet launched a VA business yet, I am starting to prepare and will be ordering the VBSS very soon!

I read in article in Woman's Housekeeping about a stay at home mom who was making decent money as a virtual assistant. She used a program called AssistU. I looked into that program, but the enrollment process was daughting. And, I did not feel like waiting 20 weeks to learn how to open for business. So, I did a google search on "How to start a Virual Assistant business" I wanted to learn how to start it as a business because I have all the skills to do the work, I just did not know where to start. The VBSS was the first on the list. It was exactley what I was looking for. I have not received my kit yet, but I agreely anticpate its arrival! I think I have found what I have been searching for for a long time.

I have been unemployed for 4 months now. A little over a month ago surfing the web for jobs, specifically paralegals, when I googled the page came back with several web sites for virtual assistants/paralegals.

I'm from Beaverton, Oregon. These web sites were from the East Coast and Northern States. They all had this "link" regarding VA. So, I "clicked" and read with excitement about the VBSS kit. You see, I've worked from home before doing the same exact thing, being a virtual assistant, but never gave it a "name". It was always I work from home to anyone who asked.

I had to wait to buy the kit, a Catch 22 situation, but I did! Just this last Monday (08/09/10). Why the excitement over the kit? (which I am impatiently waiting for, yes I know, not one of my virtues) After reading via the web the step by step process to start the business, build and "hang on" to it. Building a self-sustaining business is what caught my eye. I know I can do this and be self-fulfilled, doing what I love to people/companies that appreciate my knowledge, skills and what I have to offer.

I am more than excited, I'm chomping at the bit and can't wait. Needless to say, before I've even got the kit in my hand, I would like to thank all the VAs who I've made contact with already for their support and to Tawnya, God Bless you woman for putting this all out there for everyone.

Thank you, Sheri
