Welcome to the Forum for the Virtual Assistant Networking Association Forum referred to as VAnetworking forthwith...

You agree, through your use of this account, that you will not use this Forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually-oriented, threatening, slanderous, an invasion of a person's privacy, or would otherwise violate any law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this Forum.

VAnetworking fully endorses personal opinions, in fact we encourage it. It's okay to disagree with a subject but it not okay to call out a person/group if you disagree with their opinion because at the end of the day opinions are just that, opinions and not facts.

VAnetworking is not responsible for the content of posted messages. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message. Messages express the views of the author of the message, and not necessarily the views of VAnetworking. Any media posts that interfere with this Forum's operation or the staff's ability to run the Forums (or this web site) will be removed within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. You agree that VAnetworking has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time. VAnetworking also reserves the right to ban or suspend any member for any cause they feel warrants such a disciplinary action.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board.

This Forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies serve to facilitate your use of the Forum (for instance, by logging you in automatically each time you visit the Forum, if you choose this option).

All signatures (available to VAinsiders Only) lines will be kept to a 4 line maximum (no banner ads allowed). You may not include affiliate links or other business advertising in your signature lines that promote businesses other than yours. Your signature lines may only advertise your own family's business, services or product. If you or someone you know has a product and/or service that would help Virtual Assistants in their business, contact Tawnya at vana@VAnetworking.com to see about promoting it in our Virtual Assistant Shopping Network. Moderators and Administrators are allowed longer signature lines to promote VAnetworking contests, information, etc.

Free members may add their name to their posts ie) John or John Doe but business names/URLS/links to their websites will be deleted. On occasion it may arise that a link to your website is necessary in a post to reference a specific subject. Use your own discretion here and don't abuse or you will lose! If you disregard this rule too many times, you will risk suspension or banning of your account. When in doubt, ask a moderator. You have the chance to introduce yourself with your URL/links at the forum in the forum "Introduce Yourself and Your Business" and this is where you shine your wares. If you haven't introduced yourself for awhile, do it again to help us get to know you better. If you wish to promote and push your website url in your posts, please upgrade to a VAinsider Club membership (www.VAinsiders.com) which allows this or look into buying VAnetworking advertising packages through our website.

No blatant advertising asking for work as a VA directed towards other members. Hey, we all need work here and a plug now and then is ok, but no long listings of services, etc. If you are looking for work as a VA here, try another approach: Contribute and be a prominent member of the Forum. By offering valuable VA info to other members, you will be the one they remember when they want to outsource.

If you want to start a thread that is personal and which is not pertinent to or adds no value to other VA businesses, please use the "Coffee Break" Forum.

If a VA has had a bad experience with a company, client, or product, do not post this to the Forum as the post will be deleted. First, e-mail one of the administrators about your problem. Once there have been enough "unsolicited" complaints about a company or product, this information will be posted in an administrator access-only area of the Forum. This prevents an all out bashing, and it is fair because VAs have to send in their complaints about a company, unsolicited, to the administrator. It takes at least three (or more) unsolicited complaints before a person/service is put on the list to go to our VAnetworking Board for discussion (with explanation). Everyone has their opinion and most bad experiences are just that, an opinion and we will discuss at our VAnetworking Board meetings to judge a course of action.

This is a professional meeting place for aspiring and successful Virtual Assistants to share their business knowledge. Any posts that become too controversial or start taking up the administration's time because of complaints, whining or whatever will be deleted. SIMPLE! This Forum is kept free for all VAs because the administrators do all in their power to keep it that way by marketing and raising money for it. The administration's time is much better spent marketing the Forum to raise awareness for Virtual Assistants than dealing with threads that end up just being a battle of wits between members.

Copying and pasting posts from VAnetworking into other emails, e-lists, Forums or groups by anyone is an absolute NO NO! This site is protected by U.S., Canadian & International copyright laws and treaties. All rights reserved. Members caught violating copyright will be suspended indefinitely from VAnetworking. Forum members may NOT republish VAnetworking posts and/or threads without the Forum owner's express permission. Members are granted the automatic right to republish content of THEIR OWN AUTHORSHIP ONLY. This does NOT include posts within a thread made by other members. Contact Tawnya at tawnya@vanetworking.com to obtain reprint permission for Forum content. VAnetworking reserves the right to republish Forum content (including posts and/or threads) for any purpose.

Only one username (IP) allowed per member. Members found to have alias nicknames will be automatically suspended until a resolution amongst the VAnetworking board to reinstate has been voted upon.

Advise a moderator privately of any posts that appear to be offensive, malicious, seriously off topic or just plain iscourteous to the original poster. Moderators have the ability to remove objectionable messages and will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if it is determined that removal is necessary. Promptly informing a moderator or administrator allows us to remedy a problem before it gets to the point of affecting another member. We strive to keep a level of decorum and fairness in Forum posts. Although freedom of speech is encouraged, it should never come at the cost of someone else's feelings or comfort level.

VAnetworking reserves the right to suspend, ban or terminate a member for any cause they feel warrants such a disciplinary action. Maintaining the warm, comfortable and friendly networking environment for its majority of members will be VAnetworking's first priority.

VAnetworking has, at any time, the right to revise, add, update and/or remove any information in this VAnetworking Forum Registration Terms & Guidelines section when deemed necessary to do so.

You freely accept that VA Administrators will, on occasion, send you emails related to VAnetworking.com events, contests, news announcements and related products to help support and keep our Forum free. Forums, topics and posts may be used in promotional materials for VAnetworking. With such a large membership at our FREE VAnetworking Forum, the only way to unsubscribe is to completely remove yourself from our membership base at www.VAnetworking.com. If you wish to be removed as a VAnetworking member, please contact Patty Dost at Resources@VAnetworking.com. Please be advised that once removed from the VAnetworking database, you will be unable to view any of the forum topics.

Please do your best to support us by shopping at our VAshop (www.virtualassstantshop.com) and directing others to look for products for their virtual assistant business there since all affiliate proceeds from the VAshop go towards keeping our Forum free and running for you. Thanks!

Be kind, considerate and respect others while in this Forum. A little kindness goes a long way.

By registering a username at the VAnetworking forum, I agree to all of the above.
