Welcome to 2012!

Here’s wishing all of you new exciting things in your business a prosperous year to come!

Speaking of new things, we have a spanking new weekender report look this year. We will still send out the text based newsletter from our forum as many of you requested this for reading on your mobile phones, but for those who enjoy reading HTML, we hope you’ll enjoy this new version.

VAnetworking Headquarters moved into a new office this past month. With that move came some serious organization skills as I had to downsize from two large offices to a tiny 7′ X 13′ space.

Here’s a peek at my office right now which I videotaped for my accountability partner Lynn Terry after an online challenge from her.

Other than that, I’ve been planning my speaking engagements for 2012 and working on some exciting new Virtual Assistant training products to help educate you with your service business. I enjoyed a lovely holiday that was full of laughter and fun with family and friends but its time to get back to work!

Keeping your priorities straight is essential on the road to success. It is important to know what needs to be done and what distractions are keeping you from finishing those tasks. Keeping a daily task list and prioritizing the tasks on that list is a great way to get things done and stay focused. The best way to prioritize is to separate into three categories; must be done today, should be done today and can wait until tomorrow. Focus first on those tasks that need to be done today and you will find that what is important is no longer getting “lost in the shuffle”.
