New pic of baby Erik

Recommended Posts

Hey y'all,

Couple new pics of my kidlets!

Karri

PS: Erik is HUGE! Was over 13 lbs as of Wednesday and just 6.5 weeks old. At this rate, I should lose the baby weight in no time! LOL.

Such little cuties! BTW Karri, I got your mail of Erik's announcement, what beautiful pictures on it. Great idea!

You have to think of an excuse to get me out to Calgary/Lethbridge so I can hold that baby before he's walking already ;)

I think the reality of it all is starting to set in a bit for Jake. He's already a pretty sensitive kid--super tuned in to his environment. So he seems to tear up a little more easily than before and wants my or Jason's attention ALL the time.

Plus, I also think he's getting a bit bored. Mommy just isn't available to him as much as before  We're going to give pre-k a try starting November 1st as he has showed a lot of interest in it and I want to encourage his already very apparent love of learning. Although mainly I just want to give him more opportunity to play with other children and cut loose a bit.

It will be just 2.5 hours each afternoon and it's a Montessori school which I like. But I'm feeling super protective of him at the moment, ya know? He never liked day home much and so I'm weary of starting something new all over again. i.e. what if this flops too? Is he going to feel "bounced around" too much? Ugh. The endless worries of a parent!
