It's Time to Take Care of You Challenge

Great timing! Count me in!

 

I'm committing to walking for 30 minutes 3 times a week for the first 2 weeks, increasing it to 5 times a week which will include stairs -- in prep for this year's CN Tower climb for Untied Way :)

Tennis Shoes, are those the white lace up things in my closet with the spider webs on them?? rolf

 

I actually have them on today! I started this week "Walking at Home" with a cable channel. I love it and I can do it anytime. So count me in.

 

My goal is to do it 3 times a week, but hoping for 4.

 

And if I can get my fat, lazy dog to walk outside, I might walk him too! ;)

It is not enough, but the Airedale and I take at least a 15 min walk every morning. He expects it and is ready to go at a certain time. Then, I park as far from the door as possible, which adds 2 blocks of walking to get to the office and back to my outfit. I get to walk to the post office daily which is another 4-5 blocks. When out shopping, I park away from the door so I have to walk.

 

I turned down a wastebasket by my desk so I have to get up and move to through a tissue away.

Yay Becki! I can just hear you saying, "all right, all right".

 

Judy glad you are in too! Parking at the farthest a way parking spot is a great way to add a little extra movement in to your life. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator is another one.

I'm in - I've been walking at least a couple times a week for a while, but I'll commit to walking no less than 3 times per week for at least an hour at a time. :)

Namaste Yoga - 2 x per week.

 

If I ever get over to the Y to join, then I'll be adding in some deep water aerobics, too. But I'll commit to Namaste Yoga at least twice a week, and hope for 4.
