I did post this in another section, but thought I might get a better result here. ...

I have a personal coach client who wants to send out monthly ezines and her customer list is around 300.

I was going to use Constant Contact, but it looks like there's formatting problems with some. I've read the posts and most prefer Aweber and 1SC. She'll want to keep costs down, should I use icontact instead or something similar?

I'd like to start off on the right foot instead of fiddling with a bunch of programs that don't really work and I will be offering ezine services to other clients. Point this newbie  in the right direction. Thanks very much :)

I think it depends on how your client thinks they will grow. If their list is going to grow and they are going to offer products later on down the road, I would say 1SC. It grows with you.

Just my :penny:

I use mailchimp.com. I have had success with them. They offer a monthly plans but they also offer pay-as-you-go.. (ex. 300 credits for $9) Each newsletter counts as one credit. This works well for a client of mine because she has no set schedule for sending out newsletter... They have templates, stats, report, etc. But as Patty said... what service you use depends on how your clients wishes to grow in the future.

I use both Aweber and 1SC. Aweber is very reasonable and the deliverability rate is good. Templates and setup are easy and list management is too. 1SC is the Cadillac. I'd use it myself if I could afford it right off the bat. It's the best (in my opinion) all-around system, but it's pricier, so you would want to know that your client would see some return on investment by using a more expensive system.

Hope that helps,

Tracey

I prefer 1ShoppingCart over anything else. I love it because it's so easy to use - and very fIt offers packages that will allow you to have autoresponders, shopping cart and affiliate program all in one place without having to use different systems.
