Multiple domains - which should I put my site on?

Recommended Posts

Guest CLTAssistant

I would get something with your target market location in the domain. My domain is charlottepersonalassistant.com for example and I was on the first page of google under just about every relative search term in a week (in charlotte, NC of course)However I chose to not use my business name in the domain and I do plan to buy that domain like a pp mentioned to protect my brand. I also did a significant amount of SEO to build my rank. Your domain name is very important if you would like to get clients via web search. If you do not plan on really using your site to get clients it really doesn't matter all that much. Hope that helps!

.com is the best domain so far as it is really popular and easy to remember, all popular sites uses .com as domain. So stickto what is popular and easy to remember ;)
