I, Tawnya Sutherland, challenge YOU to join in, at our office desks, for a fun fitness challenge to BE FIT and healthier in 2010!

I've partnered with the famous "Be Fit" guru, Susie Shina, to bring to the "sit on our butt & work" Virtual Assistant network a fitness program that totally compliments our daily lifestyle as a VA. You are your business image! You want to be a lean, mean entrepreneurial machine SO BE ONE!

You want SUCCESS to be your focus for 2010 -- AND Susie knows how to get you there!!!

  • She KNOWS how tough it is to work from home and not eat everything in sight...
  • She KNOWS how impossible it seems to squeeze exercise into your day -- especially when you work from home...
  • She KNOWS how stressful it is to run a business AND take care of yourself...

That’s why Susie has put this program together exclusively for the Working Girls who WORK FROM HOME!

Visit our new website where you will find a one hour workshop you can download and listen to and learn all about Susie's "Fit For Biz 2010" Program for F R E E!

http://VAfit.com

There's also a 10 minute sample of the training Susie will be teaching us in her new program starting January 4th.

With Susie's help and encouragement, I don't mind exercising now and trust me, I used to dread it! Check out the video on the link above of me taking my dog for a walk on our treadmill...it's so cute! ;)

Besides, its only a few minutes a day to put in at my office desk so it's no hassle for me at all. I actually look forward to it each day...go figure!!!

The first 10 people who sign up will also get a bonus: A 15 minutes New Year's Resolution strategy session with Susie Shina to set real results in 2010!

Sign up & join me to get fit in 2010 at: http://VAfit.com

This will be our accountability thread too where we can share recipes, ideas, exercises, diet wines, sugar-free chocolates and anything else we come across that will keep us motivated to move and BE FIT ;) Whether or not you join the program above, please join in and state your goals for 2010 below!

My goal is to shed 20 lbs in four months with 5 of those pounds shed by the time I meet Susie in Atlanta on the 28th of January!

Don't forget to tell us your goals in our networking forum below. You don't have to be part of Susie's program to participate either...let's all try to BE more FIT in 2010!

Ohhhhh boy, after this last week of celebrating, and the New Year's celebrations coming up this week (and having most of next week off), I'll definitely be ready to get back on the wagon.

So ...

I, Marie Fitzgibbons, vow to start lifting weights 3 times per week, hooping 2, 60-minute sessions, per week and walking the neighborhood at least twice per week starting Monday, January 4th. I will lose my next 10 lbs by March 1st.

Thanks for the motivation, and here's to everyone meeting their health and fitness goals in 2010!!

I've been meaning to do this for quite some time now so thanks for the push....

I vow to try my darndest to do yoga at least 3 times a week, more if possible, limit my soda in-take to 2 cans a week, and stop eating those bad potato chips and doritos. :)

My goal is to lose 10 lbs. by the end of March. By then the weather will hopefully be nice enough that I can start doing some work outside and get some exercise that way.

Good luck to everyone!

I'm well on my way. In October I started dieting and exercising. So farI have lost 10 pounds and 17 inches. My goal is another 10 pounds. I did have some sweets over Christmas but tried not to over indulge. The key is moderation and watch your portions. You don't have to give up all your favorite foods. By giving up your favorite foods you end up being miserable and eventually you'll cave and eat a whole ton of whatever your favorite food is. If you like chips take a few out of the bag and then put the bag away. Same with cookies or whatever your weakness may be.

We are not even in the middle of winter yet so find some creative ways to move every day. If I can't get to the club I'll do an exercise video at home.

Good luck to everyone!

Hi Sara and glad you joined it with me. I loved the first 10 minute exercise Susie sent us today...did you do it yet? I did that plus I walked on Treadmill for 15 minutes so far. I'm going to walk another 15 later tonight.

I bought a pair of these shoes that are supposed to get you fit called Sketchers Shapeup Sneakers.

Also, Arnold and I are doing the Isagenix Program as of today again. I lost 12 on it before a year ago and Arnold lost 17 within one month so hoping the combination of that and Susie's workouts will do it for me :)

I weighed in today at 144 lbs and at 5'2" tall, that is considered waaaaaaaaaaay overweight so I'm looking to eventually weigh in at 115-120 lbs :)

Brave woman putting in height and weight - Not sure I am ready for that.

I aim to continue to walk dog 2 times per day for 20 min each and do susie's exercise program as intended by her (though my plan may change I must listen to Susie) I also aim to do my exercise videos 3 times per week and to stop eating chocolate until Feb 2nd. If I can survive til then I may break a horrible lifelong habit!

My goal is 8-10 lbs gone by Jan 28th and then the same for the next 2 months after. Yup a total of 30 pounds in 3 months ideally.

My daughter and hubby are going to start exercising when they get home from work. We have exercise equipment out in the garage that has just been sitting there. My daughter is also going to start walking a circle around the neighborhood in the morning (we'll see how long that lasts since 1) she's not a morning person and 2) it's waaaaaaaayyyyy too cold). Hubby needs to lose another 15-20 lbs and daughter just really needs to tone up.

I need to really start toning up too. The belly needs to go away and, yes, I do have a belly. I'm just thin everywhere else. Hopefully I'll be lookin good come April in Phoenix.

I met Susie in Las Vegas this past November, and I knew she had exactly what us "butt-sitting" VAs need! I'm so glad she connected with Tawnya!!

I've gained a good bit of weight over the past several months. December 26 I started back on South Beach Diet and started using my Wii every night. I've lost 8 lbs and have 21 more to go.

My goals is to lose the 21 lbs and get back to my "best" weight by April for my trip to the IVAA Summit in Phoenix (I desperately need to be able to fit in my clothes again <img src="http://www.vanetworking.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />.

I commit to faithfully doing Susie's program for the next 6 weeks and getting on my Wii fit Plus for 30+ minutes at LEAST 5 times per week ... if not 7. I will also try to work in the treadmill too, but I hate the treadmill with a passion, so I won't promise.

Here is to a fit 2010 for all of us!!!

Terry, thanks so much for introducing me to Susie Shina ... she was exactly what I needed to get off my butt! Arnie and I get to meet Susie in Atlanta when I'm at NAMS this month too so I have to lose at least 5lbs before then! I also plan on doing a walk on the treadmill at least once a day plus take my dog for walks when it's not raining.

Any recipes, thin ideas, etc...please share with the group to help us all lose a bit of weight this year and BE FIT!
