How's everyone holding up?

Recommended Posts

I feel like life exploded after my surgery in October. It was minor but the recovery time was bad. I'm still having some minor issues. Then the holidays and I went to visit my mother and now all of a sudden we are in thick of 1099 and W2 time. Wow.

How's everyone holding up? I've already done 1 all nighter this year. Expecting 2 more at this point.

Sorry I'm kind of MIA from the board as a whole, know that I really really really want to be here. I miss you guys! Send the accounting fairy my way!

Personally, I feel like my head is going to explode, so an all-nighter (or near enough) is in my immediate future. Our sales tax is due on the 20th in PA and I had people calling and emailing in their numbers at 10:00 p.m. last night!! Now it's down to payroll quarterlies and getting the last holdouts to cough up their 1099 information. Why are we in this numbers biz again?!?!?

Glad to see you back, Candy!!

Candy,

May this be the year that everything [starting now] goes smoothly for you and your clients during tax preparation season. One can always hope, right?

Debbie... actually this year is better than previous... as clients have been with us years and more years, we are able to control the data more, but it's still a "oh my god, just give me the last stupid statements before I completely murder you!"

What?

OMG, Patty! Is that creative commons or something? Totally want that for my April newsletter! LOL
