NEW VA in VAnetworking Headquarters!

Recommended Posts

I'll have to post a picture later as we both had our hair done today (holiday here in Canada...or at least we took one LOL). Eventually we'll have to do some work around here but too busy catching up still. ;) I'm sure we will have our moments as would any two people working together but so far it far exceeds my expectations and I'm enjoying it!

Hi Danielle,

Welcome. What a wonderful journey you are about to take and with a wonderful mentor. I hope to have the opportunity one day to show my daughter the ropes of having a VA business. Looking forward to meeting you.

I just wanted to introduce all of you to my daughter Danielle (23 y.o) who is now working full-time with me at my home office. She'll be learning the ropes in my internet marketing company plus at VAnetworking.com so that it lives long past my retirement ;)

Danielle brings with her a strong administrative background having worked for the past 8 years at a few different companies including:

  1.
  2. Shipping for one of the top 3 leaders in lighting
  3. Accounts Receivable for a video game distributor
  4. Personal Admin for a Couture fashion designer in Montreal
  5. Worked in Sales for 3 other companies part-time

I'm really looking forward to giving her the opportunity to learn how to work virtually from a home office to enjoy all the benefits we have. Plus it is wonderful to have her back around BC again after 2 years of living in Montreal.

Not to mention, she'll no doubt free up my time which means I'll have more time to do what I love doing, spreading the word about Virtual Assistants!

Hopefully, we'll be able to work well together (so far so good) and this new duo will bring some amazing things to the VA world together :)

So please give her a warm welcome her into our VAnetworking Family!

Warmly,

Tawnya

Welcome, Danielle!

What better way to start a promising career than having your very own mother as a mentor. Not to mention that she's the best in the business and we all are so grateful for her, too. Looking forward to getting to know you as I learn the ropes myself.

Danielle - what a fabulous opportunity for you. You cannot ever really realize who your mother is to all of us here. We love and adore her and she has done so much to grow and educate not only virtual assistants, but the public about virtual assistance. Soak up what you can from her and enjoy it. My daughter is 7 and my son is 9. I hope to one day retire and pass it on to them as well. Maybe at 50? LOL!

Welcome, Danielle. What a wonderful way to be introduced to a new career -- having your own Mother as your personal mentor! She is the best in the business and truly an amazing inspiration to us all.

Looking forward to getting to know you as I stumble through the ropes as a newbie myself.

Sincerely,

Patty M.

Yes I am lucky that I can learn from my mom, and I am going to take advantage of the situation and learn as much as I can! I've already begun my first website. I also can't wait to get to know all the great people on this forum!
