Anyone tried Google Chrome?

Recommended Posts

Firefox all the way for me. I have nothing against Chrome, I'm just used to FF.

IE needs to be burnt to the ground.

Firefox user here too. Although I do use Chrome for my client apps account access, this way I never have to leave mine in FF.

I loaded Chrome and all was well until I discovered it was incompatible with some other programs I use e.g. Roboform password manager. Now I'm running both Chrome and IE because some things work in Chrome and not in IE and vice versa.

I know this is an old topic but just putting my two cents out there. I started out with other browsers and finally settled with Google Chrome. I've been using it for over a year cause I wanted more speed than Mozilla and Internet explorer just made my computer brake down every time I opened it. I'm really happy with my choice and would definitely recommend it to anyone asking.

Ok, Ian our staff here just suggested to me that I start using Chrome and I'm slowly working on getting used to it. I'm a Firefox girl so will take me a bit to get used to it. I still need to set up bookmarks easily accesible that I use daily. It's easy to do that in Firefox as you can create your own toolbar. I'm sure Chrome does that too but just haven't looked into it yet.

I also haven't checked out any extensions for it yet and welcome recommendations surrounding SEO plus I'm looking for one that picks HEX colors off websites with an eyedropper. I've always used ColorZilla with Firefox. Maybe they have one for Chrome too, I'll have to check.

Chrome is definitely faster!

I tried it just last week because my firefox was so slow and freezing up on me. I like it a lot and it's a lot faster.

The only thing is I still need to figure out if I can use WiseStamp which adds a cool email signature with images to all my gmail emails... When I switched to Chrome it didn't work so now I'm kinda working from both. (when FF freezes up I switch to Chrome, lol)

I have been using Chrome on my laptop and also Safari. Safari is normally for Mac but they have a windows version.

The only thing that isn't working for me with Google Chrome is logmein. It seems to lag. So I end up having to use Firefox. Which tends to freeze up on me.

What I really need is a new laptop since I travel so much. Hoping to save up for a Mac.

I only use Chrome and can't imagine using another. Its fast and very accurate. Plus the extensions make it incredibly useful.

My husband used to swear by IE. I managed to get him to try Chrome a few months ago. He says he will never use anything else.

I really like Chrome and use it most of the time now. I've had some compatibility issues with IE9 displaying certain websites correctly, and Chrome always works perfectly. Also on eBay I've noticed that if I'm using IE to post an auction ad, it will not let me upload photos. I have to use Chrome for that and it works flawlessly. Not to mention it's fast as the others are commenting. :)
