Password protecting WP pages

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hey folks,

I have a client who wants to drip program materials to her clients in one of her group programs, on a weekly basis:

for example, they will pick up workbooks and resources online (to be uploaded to her server) and audio links to

the weekly calls will be emailed to them.

She is concerned about security of these things when we make them available to the clients - so here is my question: can we password protect Wordpress pages so that we can put the resources there but you can't access them without the password? How do cookies affect the password process? I tested it and found that once I typed in the password once, I had access to the page without the password after that. Can we edit the password weekly so it changes each week?

Thanks in advance for any ideas on how to do this (and if I'm way off and there is a smarter/better/easier way to do this, please feel free to share!)

Thanks a mil,

Tracey

Thanks Amanda.

Not sure she wants to spend that kind of money for one program though. I'll keep looking!

Thanks,

Tracey

Hi Tracey, I'll second that for DAP. It's the best membership program for dripping in content easily. It is what we use for our VAinsider Club.

I tried using Wishlist first but it just wouldn't drip in easily. Not sure if it does now or not. Rebekah Zobel Jones would be a good person to ask as she is a specialist in Wishlist.

Thanks Tawnya. My client actually asked about Wishlist. I haven't used it. Thanks for suggesting Rebekah. I'll get in touch with her to see if Wishlist might be an option.

I'm still old school at some of this stuff! :) Must find some time to get info about all these new things out there!

Yep - there are a few VAs that are Wishlist certified. I know of Rebekah and Terry Green.
