What are you going to use it for? What I use to track my time on work is Time Doctor. It's a time tracking software that helps me monitor my productivity. It helps me focus on work and avoid distractions especially because I work from home. :) I hope it helps.

I use what Tawnya recommended, but then I log it into Google Drive in a spreadsheet as well. I guess I'm old-fashioned too, although I'm not that old. I'm just set in my ways... haha

My choice for the sort of time tracking is always Replicon. Earlier I was using the inpremise software later on which got converted to a tool that operates on cloud based solutions where in the data base gets stored in the server based remotely.

When I worked for Zirtual we used Harvest, and the best free option I could find that was similar to Harvest was myhours.com. It's completely free, and the paid option is $2.00 USD a month, however the paid option is only useful if you have a team.

I hope this helps!

I use Toggle too and it works perfectly well for my requirements. I have to tell myself this because I've got shiny objects syndrome and all these new (to me) programs look too enticing!

Most of the companies use Time Doctor because you will be able to track the time of your VA. With EliteWork we have a unique timekeeping tool called the EliteWork time tracker, through this, the client will be able to track the progress of the VA on the work log which has the screenshots of the VA's desktop.
