TaskLady 0 Posted April 28, 2016 Hey, there! My name is Kayla Welch, I am an experienced administrative assistant professional recently turned virtual. I started my VA business (www.tasklady.com) and I am just finishing up my website. I have partnered with a website/social media virtual assistant so that I can focus on the tasks that I enjoy, but my business can offer everything a client needs. This is my first post in a VA forum, and I am excited to join the community. I am still looking to figure out my target market. My biggest training is in the medical field (both front end and back end) and I wonder if that could be translated to the VA world. I know that most practices tend to like the in-house assistants, so I was considering marketing to private practices. I do have experience working with insurance companies, which would be a bonus. I am nervous but excited to be on this journey.

Tawnya Sutherland 1,873 Posted April 28, 2016 Hi Kayla and welcome to our #VAforum Love the name of your domain...very memorable indeed! Don't panic too much on figuring out your target market, most times once you start working it will find you. ie) You'll find you prefer working for coaches or you prefer only doing transcription services, etc. There is tons of work for medical VAs online depending on what skillsets you want to utilize that you have. I'd sit down and write out on paper or even here if you want our feedback, all the skills you have to offer. From there you can then think about the market you would like to zone in on. Anyhow, we are here for you to help you along the way...feel free to ask us any questions. I look forward to watching your business grow from the ground floor up...good luck to you! Don't forget to take some time to add your picture and fill out your profile so we know how to reach you. You can also add a two line signature
