Hey guys,

I just aquired a new client!!!

He's the son of the guy who got me the Crimestoppers gig. He works for Purolator. He travels all over visiting depots/checking up. He doesn't have his own "Secretary" he basically works from his laptop out of his car/hotel room.

I talked to him over the holidays, he was here visiting his Dad. I told him what I could do for him, and low and behold he emailed me this morning!

This guys gonna keep me busy!woo-hoo!

Just goes to show you the power of Shmoozing

Sidenote:Newbies: Always take any opportunity to talk about what you do! Don't bombard people, but in any conversation an opportune moment will pop up!

Sorry Tawnya, I can't offer any pictures for that one!!!

I looked through my books & magazines this afternoon - I wasn't able to find a single before/after picture. I was very surprised that I didn't have one because I remember seeing so many during my "school days". Most of the pictures that I do have are of "work in progress".

I really do apologize Tawnya, I should have checked before I offered. But I was so certain that I had some. I hope you forgive me!

Hopefully the links that I gave you will be able to provide you with some pictures...

Lori

Congrates to Kimmer! Great work. :bounce8:

I actually got a call today from my "lifesaver campaign". Not neccessarily for a project, but the one who heads up a networking group in my area. I wish I could attend the meetings, but their meetings are every Tuesday at 7am. I start work at 6:30am :( and can't jepordize being late every week. But I am going to use the contact to promte for now anyways.

Kim,

:yay: That's great news...you're so right about letting the VA Biz just pop up...overbearing people about your biz will make them think you're trying to sell them something...when all you're trying to do is get the word out about your biz.
