Nominate an Outstanding VA

An important component of the Online International Virtual

Assistants Convention http://www.oivac.com/vadayawards.htm will be the

awarding of the Thomas Leonard International Virtual Assistant of

Distinction award to a veteran VA and the Janet Jordan

Achievement Award to a VA with two or less years in business

(visit site for eligibility criteria). These awards will be

presented during the inaugural International Virtual Assistants

Day (IVAD) celebration.

We are seeking nominations of VAs you feel have unselfishly

contributed to the growth and betterment of the industry. This

contribution could be via mentoring, freely giving of their time

and energy, serving as a sounding board, promoting and speaking

about the industry, writing books, or just going "beyond the

call" on behalf of fellow VAs.

IVAD is Your Day, and our once-a-year opportunity to officially

express our appreciation to the wonderful VAs who tirelessly work

on behalf of the industry.

Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, May 3rd. You can find out

more at http://www.oivac.com/vadayawards.htm. It only takes a few minutes

to fill in. We look forward to receiving your submissions. You

can even nominate yourself :-)

SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!

The convention is a ground-breaking event that has many

opportunities for VAs and small businesses around the world.

Share information about it in your newsletters, on your blog,

with your clients and contacts and on your website. You can even

sign up as an affiliate and earn! Be sure to visit www.OIVAC.com

for more information.

Well, I know I'm probably not supposed to do this publicly, but you're getting my vote, Tawnya. And I don't mind putting my thoughts out there on the forum for everyone to see either! ;)

There is not a single person within this industry who is more generous with her time and support than you are. And it goes without saying that you have created the most successful, innovative, and engaging community available to VAs today.

CHEERS FOR TAWNYA!! WAHOO!

Ha! Karri, you are the best (as I hand her a $20 bill).

Seriously though, thanks Karri but there are many others out there very deserving so please, everyone, do consider casting a nomination today. Deadline I believe is tomorrow and there are so many VAs out there deserving of these awards.

Me either (mind putting my thoughts out there that is) - I nominated Heather Jacobson for the Janet Jordan Award - she has been outstanding as far as helping me in my business.

Yes, I can think of at least five or ten VAs just off the top of my head who would be very deserving ... too bad the voting closes tomorrow ... but we have lots of night owls here so that should mean lots more votes and candidates!

Hey everyone - I just got the OIVAC newsletter and it says the nomination deadline is not until May 3rd. So there is still time to cast your votes!
