Testing the waters

Hello everyone. I have pretty much stumbled onto this site. I work full time as an Administrative Assistant, mostly responsible for scheduling conference rooms, answering phones that aren't so busy and keeping the office fully stocked. Pretty much just like running my home. I must keep people happy. There are plenty of times when I have to "find" things to do, but I still have time on my hands. I love this job, but I would like to start my own business.


How would I go about starting an answering service from my home on some evenings and weekends? I have 18 years of Administrative services. I type 70-75 wpm and have some law firm experience, accounting, data entry, bookkeeping, etc.


Any information would be greatly appreciated.
