  1. Looks great Heather. I loved the marketing humor too. Especially this one: Coors put its slogan, "Turn it loose," into Spanish, where it was read as "Suffer from diarrhea." LOL
  2. Wow, that's pretty generous of you Becki and Dale. I saw on the news that some people in Houston were doing the same (offering to take a family home with them). I think that is amazing.
  3. Cool looking websites Kimmer. I love seeing the differences in the same template. That's pretty creative. Really cooool.
  4. Alright Karri, you did a wonderful job on that newsletter.
  5. Hmmm... I thought I'd contribute a couple of peanuts too, but... "Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time." ...is posted on there now.
  6. I wonder why they don't publish the comments. Could it be they don't like them? I read their article too, but can't see any comments. Great response Tawnya! Just wish they would publish it, and Karri's.
  7. Wow, that is awesome. Makes me proud to be a member of this VANF gang.
  8. Workaround - In Abobe Reader/Acrobat - Click on Options. Disable the entry: "Allow fast web view".
  9. Kimmer I don't think it's a virus. Take a look here - http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum36/1980.htm
  10. Karri I tried to open that PDF too but can't. Were you able to open it okay? Here's the pop up dialog box I get... "Error reading linearized hint data" ...from Adobe Acrobat. I click OK then I get this message... "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to close."
  11. Hey thanks Lori, I will definately take that into consideration. You're right, the fees are up there (I think about $300.00 a year for the group I met with). I don't know if they are set by each chapter. I'll be sure and ask about that and post what they tell me here.
  12. Actually, one of the members I met today already showed some interest in my business services and asked me for more of my brochures (thank goodness I had plenty with me). I can already think of several leads I can refer to some of them. Thanks for the feedback Becki.
  13. I went to a BNI lunch meeting today as someone's guest that I met at one of our local chamber mixiers. There is a yearly fee to become a member that I am seriously considering; the meeting today left me with a very positive impression. During a self-introduction phaze each person gets one minute to describe what they do and why people should do business with you. Then their were two 10 minute presentations/demonstrations from members about their business. Their is also a referral system in place and door prizes. Here's their website address... http://www.bni.com/ They have some great articles... http://www.bni.com/successnet/successnet05/archives.shtml Has anyone here heard of them? I would love to hear your experiences.
  14. Something's wrong here, ...range of a Virtual Assistant's clientele (it) can become?
  15. Wow Karri You're updated picture looks great, very professional. I just subscribed to your newsletter, looking forward to it.
