  1. Hi: I not one for posting too much but would love to share with you my knowledge on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a great site, but a very confusing site to use. I just completed putting a Bio on Wikipedia for someone and let me tell you initially it wasn't easy. I even had my old boss who is an IT guru check it out for me and she was just as confused. You can spend days reading their help files and you will still be confused. It is a different language they use, not HTML and you must have an account in order to create a document or make edits. Anything you write is automatically made public, so you can't hide anything. You can let them know your article is in "draft" format, but it is still public. Wikipedia is extremely fussy about what is accepted and you must have three outside references listed, otherwise they delete it. It isn't even that easy to write about it, but they have a logic which I can't fully explain, but if you would like I could possiblly help you get going with what you are trying to accomplish. Best regards, Mary Jane Stern http://mjstern-va.com mjs@mjstern-va.coom
  2. Thank you so much for this free course. This is very generous of you. I have just taken my VA practice "full-time" and I the work I am doing is in social marketing so this will be very helpful with things like Squidoo and HubPages. Mary Jane Stern www.mjstern-va.com
  3. I just want to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Mary Jane Stern and I have recently started my VA business in Jupiter, FL. I stumbled across the Virtual Assistant business while on the Internet and thought, what a great idea! As I read more, I decided this was an opportunity for me to finally “stay at home,” work at the same time, and no more 9-5 at the office. I have over 20 years of administrative experience working with all levels of management and co-owning a contract manufacturing business for 10 years. Getting my VA business up and running is getting my entrepreneurial spirit back that I have missed so much. I have heard that this a great group of VAs to be associated with and I look forward to being part of this group.
