My opinion is that if we are going to have something, schedule it out for a month in advance to make sure we have time to get the word out and get it on our own schedules. Personally, I do a lot of local networking so that would help. Also, we can post it on meetup.com, as well as Facebook, to make sure that we are using several avenues to get the word out.
