About Me Personally

My name is Nathalie. I have been with my husband for 15 years, married for 12. We have 3 very active children. Our daughter, Cassandra, is 11; our sons, Oskar and Victor, are 8 and 5 respectively. Victor is on the Autism spectrum (pdd-nos) and is doing very well. We are proud of each and everyone.

My husband is a regulatory affairs manager for a major medical device company. He's one of those people who can't sit still very long, so always has at least one project on the go. He is very handy around the house and has improved and changed much around our abode.

My husband and I are originally from Canada. We moved to the US after our wedding in 1996. We proudly became citizens in 2002. We still visit Canada (Montreal and Ottawa) on a regularly since both our families' still reside there. I am fluent in both French and English.

I hold a degree in translation as well as a diploma in business. I have over 10 years experience in varied administrative capacities, including accounting/bookkeeping. Also, along with translation experience, I have experience in proof reading, editing and desktop publishing.

My skills are rusty as I have been home for the last 13 years, but I have started updating my skills by doing the tutorials of, what seems to be, the most popular software (MS Office suite - word, excel and powerpoint). Also, I am reviewing my accounting notes and I have found an online site to help me refresh my skills in bookkeeping.

I look forward to the challenge and of becoming a virtual assistant!
