About Me Personally
I was raised in Enfield, CT and went to College in Providence, RI. Fell in love with Providence and ended up living there for over 15 years. In 2002, my family moved to the Tampa Bay area and I reside here today. I miss the Fall in New England the most.
I share my home and office with a 3 year old Rottweiler named Bear, and 2 cats, Rascal and Salem.

Education
I have a B.A. in Communications with a Minor in Management, as well as a Certificate from Katharine Gibbs. I also have a FL Real Estate License. In addition to my formal training, I have had the good fortune of attending numerous professional seminars as well as specialized training courses throughout my career.
Professional Background
While reflecting on my professional background, it occurred to me that over the past 20 years or so, I have really been blessed to experience so many different aspects of the corporate world. I am happiest in a support role. My support experience has included, but not limited to, Customer Service, Administrative Assistant, Marketing and Sales Support. I am an organizer by nature. I approach all tasks by first organizing what needs to be done, then tackling it head on. I spent 10 years of my corporate career in the Telecommunications Industry, so you could say I know a few things about technology.
Becoming a Virtual Assistant
Inspired by God and with the uncertainty of the Telecom Industry dating back from Worldcom in early 2000 and more recently, the Real Estate Market downturn, it caused me to reevaluate where my career was going. After thinking about all the skills I have acquired through the years, I realized that I had a lot of knowledge and know how to share with other business owners, hence, Having a Virtual Advantage, LLC was born. You will find that I am VERY resourceful to get the job done completed on time.
