  2. I use Gmail and love it. Although I keep all my email organized into folders, their search capabilities make it very easy to find older emails. As a web designer, I like how Gmail groups all of the emails of a particular discussion together. It saves me a lot of time since I don't have to search for all of the project details in 20-30 different emails. Everything is right there in a single grouping.
  3. SharePoint.com is a great resource. I believe it's about $20 a month. It's easy to use, and you can change the documents within the site itself (including PDFs) or export to your computer.
  4. That is awesome! Congrats on gaining a client from Twitter.
  5. I completely agree with Ruth. Article marketing shares your expertise on a particular topic. If I were a potential customer, I'd be more inclined to work with someone who appears very knowledgable in their field based on the free information they provide both on their website/blog and through outside sources.
  6. I love their videos. Thank you for sharing!
  7. I'm located in the southern part of Worcester County, Massachusetts.
  8. I'm still fairly new on Craigslist. I just started actively using their service around April 30th. So far, I've only gotten one bite by posting in the NYC section & nothing from Boston. I wrote back to the "bite" to move the process to the next step, but he hasn't responded yet. I'm just going to continue trying different things out and see what comes of it.
  9. A thank you to everyone for the welcome! Tawnya, thank you for your kind words regarding my design work. I'm happy to hear that you were impressed with my designs. It was very encouraging. I'm excited to be a part of such a supportive community. Crystal, thank you for the information about the eSeminars. It is great to see a familar face on here, and I always love designing for your clients. Patty, thank you!
  10. Hi Jackie, Welcome to the site and congrats on starting your business. I'm still fairly new in the VA business as well. Best wishes, Stephanie
  11. As a VA, having a decent website design is very important to your success. Some are able to construct their own site using FrontPage or Dreamweaver, but the learning curve is steep if you're designing your first site. If you can afford a web designer & don't want to spend many, many hours figuring out how to create your own site, then a great web designer will be a perfect help for you. Expect to pay anywhere from $300-600 depending on the designer you go with and the complexity of your site. Please feel free to PM me if you have any other questions since this area is my expertise. Best wishes, Stephanie
