Patti Seipp

My name is Patti Seipp and I am a graduate of AssistU and Tame the Internet Monster TTIM website. I grew up in Nutley, New Jersey. After graduating Berkeley Secretarial School, I worked as a legal secretary for 15 years. After I had children I became a darn good soccer mom and enjoyed many volunteer positions in my community. Upon re-entering the work force, many technological changes had occurred in the office environment. Word processors had been replaced by computers; there were fax machines and headsets on telephones. I found that working a 9 to 5 job kept me from enjoying and participating in my children's lives. I began to explore alternative venues to generate income.

My search led me to AssistU where I was inspired to think about integrating the traditional office skills that I developed over the years with the potential of new and emerging technologies in an entrepreneurial manner. This was very exciting to me. I've always had a "can do" attitude and embarked on a wonderful journey of learning all about new technologies and their application in creating a novel career path becoming a Virtual Assistant.

I have a passion for organizing, problem solving, and taking an objective view for others and myself. When confronted with a challenging situation, whether it is in business or personal related situations, strategizing solutions and alternative resolutions comes easily. While others may struggle, I seem to have a talent for seeing the uncomplicated and direct answer. Some would ay I'm a detailed oriented, systems inclined, out of the box thinker; I would simply say that I have the moxie and "know how" to get the job done!

Although I love the details and am tenacious when it comes to meeting deadlines, I enjoy a great sense of humor and having fun at work.

I bring to my VA practice my enthusiasm to constantly learn and challenge myself. I am amazed at the plethora of new and ever changing technologies available to aid busy business owners of more efficient ways to process data.
