  1. I have a question for all of you who are currently working as a virtual assistant offering desktop publishing services either completely or as a part of your services. Do you charge by the hour or by project on your design projects? I am currently trying to determine which way would be best for my business. I will be offering content creation desktop publishing and web design. Thanks for your help. Debra Nail Deb's Desk
  2. I think definitely you should make it clear up front that you do not offer printing services. Most companies are going to want professionally printed material so that should not be a problem. There are a lot of printing companies that offer services for very reasonable prices, such as Overnight Prints. I have a list of different ones based on the services they offer. Debra Nail Deb's Desk
  3. I have Windows 7 on my new computer and I recently downloaded CS4. I haven't had any problems with it. You might see if you have enough memory to run the probram. Debra Nail Deb's Desk Virtual Assistance
  4. Hi, my name is Debra and I am a future virtual assistant. I am in the process of starting my business as Deb's Desk Virtual Assistance and hope to be up and running by May 10th, my grand opening date. I am married and we have three kids, ages 16, 13, and 12. We stay pretty busy with three teens in the house. I am a full-time college student, majoring in business technology which will help tremendously with my virtul assistant business. Right now I am in a small business management class which has proven to be extremely invaluable to my plans. Deb's Desk will focus on Women Entrepreneurs in small business, offering document creation including desktop publishing and any Microsoft Suite app. I am a member of other groups and know that I will learn many things by associating with other virtual assistants. I look forward to getting to know you and networking with all of you. Debra Nail
