  1. I'll be there with "bells on"! =) Can't wait to see everyone again. I missed last year because I needed to attend Infusioncon but you won't be able to hold me back in May. I'll be speaking too - well, really demonstrating, on creating an elearning and mmembership environment in WordPress. Should be fun! Portland is also one of the cities on my "must see" list so I'm excited at the location. The hotel rate is super sweet too. Who else is going to be there?
  2. Hey Tawnya, It's on my schedule! Can't wait to connect in Atlanta. It's been way too long since we've seen each other. =) Pam
  3. Congrats again Janet and AWESOME idea in sending your clients those HARO posts. I've sent them to clients pertaining to their specialty or industry but not when it's about working with a VA. Well done! Cheers, Pam

  5. Oh, and what fun we had! I'm so sorry to be missing everything at this year's IVAA Summit. I had fully intended to go - was even on the slate as one of the speakers - but other things got in the way. I'll be thinking about all you lovely ladies (and gents) and hope that you learn lots, network successfully and meet lots of wonderful people you will add to your group of friends. Hugs, Pam
  6. Ooooo...I'm excited to see who all is coming! Last year was AWESOME!!! And I can't wait until June. Ready to learn and grow AND have a ton of fun! Cheers, Pam
  7. Hi Dana, I can't wait for next month to get here! I'm looking forward to meeting new VAs and the opportunity to get together again with others that I've met in the past. Register online today - http://www.edge-book.com/register/ Midwest Book Review Gives EDGE! 5 Stars! A deft combination of fiction and business education, July 10, 2008 "Aesop's Fables were stories that, although fictional, carried an important lesson. "Edge! A Leadership Story" looks to follow that pattern as it presents the story of CEO Mitchell James. How he recovers from certain economic disaster is a tale sure to entertain and inform. "Edge!" effectively teaches the reader how to deal with management and leadership problems in today's world of business. A deft combination of fiction and business education, "Edge!" is highly recommended for community library business and fiction collections alike. Bestselling author praises Edge! Michael Gerber, author of the NY Times bestselling books for entrepreneurs, the E-Myth series, had the tables turned on him. The master of inspiring others, Gerber was himself inspired when he read Edge! "This is a whole new twist on the business-book genre, one that will take the industry by refreshing storm. 'Edge!' is not a business book per se, but a book about leadership, the role everyone in a role of authority must learn to play. If he or she does, magic happens. How this transformation happens in 'Edge!' is what most inspired me. Our hero comes face to face with a coach. But not just any coach. In 'Edge!', our coach is someone I wish I knew when I needed one. She's a dazzler...I left (the book) with more of an edge than I had when I picked it up. Thank you for 'Edge!'" The magic is in the teamwork. There's a story within the story of Edge! that speaks to leaders in all roles--community leaders, parents, coaches, teachers. The development of the book itself was the result of teamwork: Bea Fields is a coaching dynamo. Her creativity, insight, experience, and energy combine to make her a success. She used her vast leadership skills to spearhead this unique project. Chairman of the Dream of Writers of the Round Table, Corey Blake brought a wealth of leadership experience from his years in the film industry. He had a crystal clear vision of the book and surrounded Bea Fields with the professionals who could nurture her dream. Eva Silva Travers came on board as the main co-author, giving Bea "so much more than I asked for!" Business and Life Coach and seasoned Broadway actor Roger DeWitt lent his formidable talents to the project as he engaged in mock coaching calls. Roger played CEO Mitchell James opposite Bea Fields as the coach character, Kate Nelson. Those recorded calls provided the foundation for the coaching sessions in the book. An author on the move Bea Fields, who has been featured on nine different radio shows in the last two weeks alone, brings her enthusiastic spirit to her spreading the word about EDGE! and related projects, too. Sign up for Bea's newsletter to get the scoop on her Summer Virtual Tour. In her series of interviews and interactive teleclasses, Bea can help you find your own leadership edge. Other top authors are loving it! "Simply put, Edge! is the most compelling book on leadership I've ever read. But you should only read this book if you really want to stand in the service of others as you stand in the service of your destiny. Edge! is not just about leadership ideas. It's about real transformation." Michael Port Bestselling author of Book Yourself Solid & Beyond Booked Solid "After trudging through numerous books of happy-talk bilge, Edge! is an arctic blast of white-hot inspiration. Fields and company confront the fears of today's leaders while blazing a trail to illustrate, educate, enlighten and inspire. We've always known Bea Fields was a bad-ass...now the rest of the world gets to benefit from her powerful work. Look for 'leadership fiction' to be a whole new genre!" Andy Wibbels Speaker and bestselling author of Blogwild! A Guide for Small Business Blogging
