I have over 30 years' experience in the corporate world having worked with several major corporations in the Birmingham area before transitioning to the legal field and in turn, working for three of the largest, most reputable law firms in the Birmingham/southeast area. I lost my job as a Legal/Executive Assistant with a major corporation at the end of October, 2011 and was forced to make a decision. That decision involved making up my mind to never again let my fate lie in the hands of Corporate America and to put my experience, knowledge and strong work ethic to work for myself; hence, the formation of my company -- Bama Belle Ventures, LLC -- d/b/a VAssist Administrative and Legal Support Services.
