  1. Definitely going to try this out. Thanks for sharing.
  2. I just really jumped into Pinterest this week and it can be addicting! It really is great and does work to include a picture from your blog post. I just included the link to my post and it gave me the option of what picture from the post I wanted to use...or you could end up pinning all of the images from the post to reach more people. As I was working through Pinterest I realized how it reaches out to your audience in a different way...visually...and I am a visual person, so it is a great tool to help share about me and my business. Now I just need to make sure I don't spend too much time on pinning.
  3. What a great resource to share with clients as well. Everyone appreciates safeguarding sensitive files. Thanks Dana & Office Goddess for the valuable information.
  4. Sounds like I am in a similar place as well. I just continue to learn and network online with a few in person networking events later this week. Very important to believe in yourself and what you are offering.
  5. This is so refreshing to read. It is about building relationships and trust whether you have a physical or virtual business. Organic growth takes time and thank you for reminding us of this
  6. I believe there is value in both kinds of scenarios...one-stop and niche. As I have just started in the VA industry, I created packages that include services that I offer towards a niche, but my experience also allows me to be flexible depending on the clients needs. For example, if a client needs a wordpress website I can customize that for them, but if they need research, or powerpoint put together as well (maybe for the website) I could offer it as well...with a fee of course. But my goal is to focus on my nich with the "extras" as necessary. Every client is different and I want them to think of me the next time they need to partner with a VA.
  7. A website with this information put together in a way that could be understood by the average user would be great. However, with all of the resources out there it can get a bit overwhelming when looking at everything and taking in the bigger picture, so maybe something on the website that could help guide a user/consumer to the right resource would be great as well.
  8. Dana, this is very helpful for newbies! Thanks for sharing.
  9. This is a great idea. I am new to the industry and when I did a google search on 'client questions for virtual assistants' it will bring up a lot of good examples that may help you. I know being new in this industry this type of document would be very helpful as well.
  10. Hello and I have been waiting for the right opportunity as I set up my new virtual business to introduce myself. Then I realized there really is no better time than the present and I am very happy there are resources for us all to connect. That is something that encouraged me to keep moving. The many forums I have visited over the last few months have been truly amazing in the knowledge that I have gained. I look forward to getting to know everyone a little better and to continue the learning.
