  1. Hello all, Hoping I'm putting this in the right forum. Got a customer that is wanting a quote on custom coffee mugs with his company name and logo. I've never had mugs done before and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for good companies to use. I know Vista print does them, but they seem kind of expensive. Would appreciate everyone's thoughts and/ or experiences. Thanks, Julie
  2. I did sign up for oDesk but started to see people that were bidding like one dollar and something an hour and pretty much said forget it. I'm not going to work for free. I'm on eLance and landed one client right away which was very surprising. I'll be doing their website maintenance for them. Unfortunately, they are in NJ where the hurricane hit and now the nor'easter, so they're a little slow and getting me my revisions they need me to do. But what I've done for them so far, they pay immediately and are super nice people. Hoping it will turn into a long working relationship.
  3. I don't think so, I asked all my current clients if I could use them as references. No problems. Julie
  4. Hi Traci, I'm in Marshfield which is about 20 miles east of Springfield. Used to live in Troy (about 50 miles NW of St. Louis) and moved down here 2 years ago. Really love the area! You're only about an 1 1/2 hour to maybe 1 hour and 45 minutes down 44 from me. If we ever go back to the Troy area, we always pass Sullivan on our way to get off at the St. Clair exit. Small world! :)
  5. Congrats Traci! Hope my business takes off like that! All the best, Julie
  6. I really like Chrome and use it most of the time now. I've had some compatibility issues with IE9 displaying certain websites correctly, and Chrome always works perfectly. Also on eBay I've noticed that if I'm using IE to post an auction ad, it will not let me upload photos. I have to use Chrome for that and it works flawlessly. Not to mention it's fast as the others are commenting.
  7. Hello all! Brand new to the forum tonight! Just started my VA business at the beginning of October and looking to network, get marketing ideas and hopefully make a few new friends along the way. Hope everyone has a great night! Julie Dunn VA
