  1. Happy New Year Everyone!!!! I hope that 2008 brings much success to each and everyone of you. Warmly, Caroline.
  2. Brent, Know you are in our hearts and prayers during this time.
  3. I was having issues with Firefox as well. I would be on there and it would have to close unexpectedly. It just did an update the other day and it failed to install properly. Firefox seemed to recognize this and did a complete uninstall and reinstall on it's own. Everything seems to be working fine now. I hope you get things up and running again soon. I can't live without Firefox.
  4. Hi Angela, Glad to hear your little fellow is okay. I can't remember all the trips to emergency room for stitches and having bumps and bruises assessed. My nephew was in the emergency room more times than I care to remember as well. He was visiting with us when he was 3 years old and was doing handstands in the driveway and landed on his head screaming he couldn't move his neck, just a bad sprain of all things. It does get better though, my son is 32 and my nephew is 23 and they seem to be a little more cautious now. Now I know how the expression came about 'boys will be boys'.
  5. Hi Tami and welcome to VANA. I look forward to seeing you around the forum.

  7. I do this for a corporate client of mine and I always tape the meetings and either type or write pertinent things as the meeting progresses to help me focus on who and what is being said what the important points are. When I transcribe the tape, I can check back at the notes and have a much clearer indication of what was going on during the meeting. As Rosaliene has said, do up the minutes as soon as you can after the meeting when things are still fresh in your memory. Good Luck!
  8. Hi Fran, I also went through the SEB Program and it was a great opportunity. The main focus is to help you to get your Business Plan together and get you to think like a business person. Yvonne gave you some great tips for the interview. Go in there and talk the talk, let them know that you have researched the field and know what will be expected of you from a business perspective. As Yvonne has said they want to know that you have done your homework and are really serious about making this work. Their success rate is very high and they want to keep it that way by only taking on the people that they feel will succeed. Good luck.
