  1. A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, “I’ll give you $800 to drop that towel.” After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 dollars and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks,… “Who was that?” “It was Bob the next door neighbor,” she replies. “Great!” the husband says, “Did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?”
  2. Hello Shane! Looking forward to more of your informative and inspirational posts. You'll love it here.
  3. I've also been using Evernote for quite some time now and I have to agree that it's a very useful tool. I've also been using Google Calendar, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, etc. One thing that's been a huge help on managing my time and improving my productive is a time tracking tool called Time Doctor.
  4. I couldn't agree with you more. This is the reason why I left oDesk. It was very difficult to land a job that suits you because most freelancers are willing to bid very low rate and sadly, most employers are also willing to hire them no matter how incompetent they are for the job. It's just frustrating. Good thing I'm now happy with the company I am in. Thanks for this post!
  5. Hey PiotrTor, welcome to the community. If you want to have a full time online job, you could try out Staff.com - https://www.staff.com/ It's also like Elance but they focus more on full time jobs rather than part time gigs. You should try your luck there. I hope it helps. Good luck!
  6. I have two gmail accounts and one yahoo. They're my work and personal accounts.
  7. For me, there are a lot of ways to make money online. Like selling products, things and services. So far, I've only tried selling my services and I've landed a full time job online.
  8. I've seen it on National Geographic that during an interview, when asked about the skills, it's okay to tell honestly the interviewer the bad habits about yourself but make sure to end the sentence with the positive things that will make the whole thing a balance.
  9. What are you going to use it for? What I use to track my time on work is Time Doctor. It's a time tracking software that helps me monitor my productivity. It helps me focus on work and avoid distractions especially because I work from home. I hope it helps.
  10. My own office with a really comfortable office/computer chair.
  11. Grab every awesome opportunity that comes your way. Don't live life with fear.
  12. You have a point there, however, some business owners take risks of hiring Filipino VAs because they are cost effective, hard working and also highly trainable.
  13. I think before doing that you need to really study first how it's done and how to avoid some common mistakes being a newbie in outsourcing. So just you could avoid wasting your time and money. However, some mistakes can't really be avoided but experience is a great teacher, so good luck!
