  1. Thank you Tawnya for your feedback and suggestions. I have been thinking about the length of the domain name, too. So after I had submitted my post, I had confirmed that savvyofficeva.com is available. But since you have shared that the use of VA can be misunderstood for Veterans, I might consider savvyofficehelp.com. Before I make a final decision, I will wait to see what other feedback comes in. Again, thank you for your input.
  2. Hi everyone, I need your feedback concerning business name and domain. I have brainstormed and although I have not decided on a niche yet, I have come up with a business name. I am considering Savvy Back-Office VA with domain as savvybackofficeva.com. What do you think? Do I need to go back to the drawing board? There is a parked domain named savvybackoffice.com. If the business name is a go, is it worth registering since the names are close? Thank you, Sherlonda P.S. The information I have read in the forum has been great! My questions about tag lines, logos, etc. have been answered. And it's true, reading through the different postings in the forum is addicting. Again, thank you for sharing.
  3. Thank you Tawnya. I am glad you can relate. And I look forward to starting my business.
  4. Hi everyone, My name is Sherlonda. I am a Personal Assistant and have seven years of experience. I am interested in becoming a VA for two reasons. (1) I want a flexible work schedule so I can spend more time with my 2-year-old. The combination of a long commute and work hours, make me feel like the evenings are going by so fast without spending any real quality time with her. So a change is needed. And (2) with so much uncertainty in Corporate America, I eventually want to become my own boss. I don't expect starting a VA business to be easy and the process will probably make me more imbalance until I get it up and going. But I believe it will be worth it. So I look forward to your input and learning from all of you. And hope in time, I can return the favor. Thank you.
