  1. Tawnya, I just noticed you shared your list, as well. Thank you so much, I really appreciate that, as well
  2. Thank you, Danielle! That really is a great list. I'm going to go through it this evening. Thank you, as well, for following.....I've followed you right back
  3. The only thing I find wrong about Danielle's website is that there is no "Philadelphia Flyers" section to the right I may have to leave this forum now Both are cute sites....Thanks for sharing, Tawnya!
  4. Thanks, Julian, for your feedback!
  5. Thanks, everyone, for the warm welcome! I'm happy to be here! Markofapproval- Being that I'm originally from the US, this was a term that was initially new to me, as well (been in Canada for almost 10 years now). You would be correct in your assumption. I find it to be a really "cute" term and fun. Let's hope this is the case, anyway. Otherwise, I would have unknowingly offended a few people in the past
  6. Hi Jodie, First off, I had replied to your post a few minutes ago but don't see that the reply is there. Should this be an error on my end and there is a double-posting I apologize! Just wanted to say thanks for sharing your story! It is a great reminder how important relationships are and in always conducting ourselves professionally. Not only that, but your story speaks volumes about your level of professionalism and quality of work! Congrats to you! While you may not think the client has "tons" of work, this can all change. More importantly; however, think of all the potential referrals that can come your way from this one client and his great experience with you! Thanks, again, for sharing your story. It's encouraging!
  7. Hi Michelle, While I'm not with Wind, I would second Tawnya's suggestion regarding Telus. I have had 2 phones with Telus for years and truly haven't experienced anything negative with their service nor customer service. I have found other promotions or "deals" through other local carriers and have called Telus to see if they can match or come close to matching what others are offering. Each time, they have been receptive and I can honestly say that I've experienced excellent customer service with Telus. I'd be curious to know if you have attempted to speak with Telus regarding any issues or if you have switched to Wind, as I was originally looking at Wind some time ago.
  8. I hope I'm posting this in the correct section! After a couple years away from Twitter, I've decided to get back to it. I'm finding myself distracted by a number of things posted from those I follow; however, a lot of what I'm distracted by has been either very helpful professionally, personally, or just gives me a good laugh when I need it. So, I wondered if anyone wanted to share one person within their Twitter feed whom they would recommend following that may post things that they find informative or any tips that would suit VAs. May as well learn a thing or two! Likewise, if you yourself would like to connect, I'm always for connecting with others and sharing.
  9. Thank you so much, Tawnya, for your quick reply! I have and have found that, for my needs, I need to look into "multi user VPN behind one static IP".....So, now I'm off to figure out how exactly that is achieved. Thank you so much!
  10. Good Afternoon Everyone! Hoping someone may be able to help me as I'm about to bang my head against the wall (Can you tell I don't know much about this type of "stuff"?) I need to have a static IP address in order to gain access into a software program. My ISP does not offer the option of a static IP. Does anyone know of a way that one can obtain or program a static IP or is the only solution to switch to an ISP provider that offers this option? Any help is greatly appreciated!
  11. Hi Susanne, Thanks so much for the warm welcome! I could literally spend days on this site reading through everything and that probably would not do it justice! I am in Ontario and thus far my focus has been on more admin-based, translation, and transcription services. There are other offerings, as well, but those 3 have been my main focus thus far and will continue to be for a bit longer. I see you're in BC....I've never been out that way but do hope to get the opportunity in the future. Thanks, Toni
  12. Hello Everyone, I've spent some time reading through a lot of threads and there is a wealth of knowledge here. I'm looking forward to connecting with others and sharing information. Excited to be a part of the forum!
