  1. Proud to be a Virtual Assistant? Get a tshirt to say that! https://t.co/rONYipGfjp

  2. Hi Elizabeth and welcome to our network, great to see you introducing yourself and I look forward to getting to know you more through your participation here I don't feel like your skills are run of the mill at all. You appear very "niched" in bookkeeping which is a great specialty skill to have as a VA. Focus on marketing your bookkeeping skills and you will do great in this business
  3. Why You Need to Network with Other Virtual Assistants https://t.co/wzkNiyU4wQ

  4. Like Emily said in her post, the clients that want the $5-10/hr VAs are not the ones you should be putting any effort into prospecting. There are plenty of other potential clients out there who are willing to pay $40-60/hr. What you need to do is to create a marketing plan that will attract better prospects for you. For example: One of the best ways to get these types of higher paying clients is to join the VA organizations like ours that have job boards. We won't even accept jobs into our job board that are only paying $5-10/hr. The clients coming to our board know the value of a VA and are willing to pay for it and are high quality. Just landing one of the jobs at our job board at say $40/hr will cover the cost of one month being a member here
  5. I coach many VAs and one of the biggest time-wasters many of them have is wasting time on their social networks. A good way to avoid this time-waster is to block out times for the social networks and stick to it.
  6. Hi Pamela and welcome! I suggest going and watching the "How to become a VA" video in our member lounge. If you haven't signed up to access all the resources there I highly recommend you do by clicking here. Then after watching we will be here for you to answer any questions you still have but that video answers almost everything for a new VA.
  7. Hiya Louisa and welcome! Glad you found us again and I look forward to getting to know you more through your participation here
  8. Hi Rhonda and welcome! Looking forward to getting to know you more through your engagement here
  9. Here's where you'll be able to learn about adding a team to your #VirtualAssistant business! https://t.co/oHLNZRZrQr

  10. The countdown clock has already started on the 65 products you want, but will never get again at this one price. https://t.co/B5lZUidzB9

  11. If you are looking for an overall certification as a Virtual Assistant well look no further than my network as I have got you covered in this area. I have been offering VA cerfitifications for years at VAcertified.com Clients came to me wanting a list of VAs that showed credibility and trust for their business work by going though our certification process. We met their demand and hence VAcertified.com Virtual Assistants who are VAcertified demonstrate to clients and prospective clients that: Their products and services are relevant to how business is conducted in today’s global economy. They are committed to offering a level of professionalism in all that they do, both for their clients and the virtual assistance industry at large. They are the VA they say they are. They represent themselves, their businesses, their offerings and the VA industry with integrity, honesty and respect for others. The VAcertified Board of highly qualified business entrepreneurs assembled from around the world was brought together to ensure professionalism, fairness, equality and depth to the the certification process. Below are the most frequently asked questions to help you through your decision making process to apply to become VAcertified. Feel free to ask us your question if it is not answered below by contacting us. The Board will ask you a series of questions in order to get an indepth profile of who you are based on your education, VA-related education, work experience, and professional accomplishments within the VA industry. These are the areas we will assess via a series of questions with supporting documentation required during the certification process: Government Education High School Graduation College/Trade Certifications University Degrees Virtual Assistant-related Education VA Training Programs Coaching/Mentoring Hours Further Education Certifications Work/Professional Experience Self employment history (Min. 1 year in business) Client testimonials Previous Admin/Corporate Work Experience Professional Accomplishments Online Presence VA related Volunteer Work Industry Participation Industry Promotion/Growth It is possible to qualify for certification if you rank low in one section yet rank sufficiently high in the other sections. You may be asked to provide information for each section from client testimonials to certifications you already hold. You can read more about the certification process at our website. Warmly Tawnya
  12. Awesome share Lily thanks!
  13. Yes we lost those on our last upgrade, I'll have to try and hunt them down and rewrite again. If there is anything specific you'd like to know in the meantime please ask here...
  14. Denise, if this is a one-time thing I'd let him bank them into the next month. Vacation/sick pay is none of the clients concern except for them having mark off in their calendar what days you will be away or sick. Was there a reason they never use the 10 hours up during that month? How many did they use? Was the reason they couldn't use the hours because you were not available?
